We are a team of qualified, caring behaviour therapists with years of experience providing ABA services to children and youth with autism in the Halton region. We are passionate about helping our clients reach their full potential, and specialize in developing and implementing strong, evidence based programs that focus on teaching social skills, functional life skills and social communication.

ABA AT ROCK is committed to offering a flexible, family-centred, and evidence-based service that the community has come to expect from us. We believe in building the capacity of both our clients and their families by teaching the skills needed to live productive, independent lives.

ROCK is the Ministry’s appointed Lead Agency for children’s mental health in Halton and has been providing high quality service in our community for 40 years. As a part of ROCK, our Autism team collaborates with our mental health staff at ROCK to provide a holistic approach for clients that wraps around their needs.

WE HAVE locations in Oakville, Burlington, Milton and Halton Hills. Depending on the focus of programming, we are able to run sessions in one of our offices, at home or in the community and are willing to provide consultation in school, on a case by case basis. All services are available for clients between the ages of 9-21 with a diagnosis of autism.

Depending on your child’s strengths and the identified areas of need, goals may be targeted in a group, individually, or both.

Assessment

A strong behavioural assessment provides confidence that the right goals are selected at the right time for your child. All of our services begin with an assessment of your child or youth’s individual needs and strengths.

Parent Workshops

We believe that parents and guardians are a crucially important part of the treatment team. Attending our parent training workshops is an excellent way for parents to empower themselves with the knowledge and skills to help support their child.

Direct Consultation & Treatment

Our direct consultation and treatment service focuses on decreasing problem behaviour and/or increasing functional skills, based on the current needs and strengths of your child.

Have you heard about the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) Childhood Budget?

What is it?

The OAP Childhood Budget is direct funding from the Ministry that you can use to purchase a variety of services for your child, including behavioural support. All of ROCK’s Autism Services offerings are eligible for purchase with the Childhood Budget.

How do I gain access to this funding?

If your child is registered with the Ontario Autism Program, you will receive a letter from the ministry when it is time to apply for a Childhood Budget.

I received a letter… now what?

Once you receive the letter from the Ministry, you have 90 days to complete the form and submit it. Don’t wait… if you want to receive the Childhood Budget and access services, it’s important to complete the paperwork and send it in!

Payment Details

All services and supports offered are eligible for purchase with the Childhood Budget. Payment can be made at the time of booking via Visa/MC/Cheque/ e-transfer/Online payment.
